Pet care experience
Hey, I'm Kaitlyn! I am currently a grad student living in Lititz. Right now my life is remote (school and work), so I am super flexible and available for dog-sitting, walks, or just checking in. I'd prefer to stay within local distance for dog walks, but am willing to commute for longer stays. Whether it's living in your home while you are away, or just stopping over for a walk, feeding, or visit, you can be assured your pets will receive the utmost level of care, with lots of love and snuggles! I will send pics, updates, and texts while you are away, and always leave a summary note before leaving the home. I have been entrusted by many families and individuals over the past 10 years or so to care for their dear pets in their home. I have been an animal whisperer since childhood, and still continue to appreciate their vibrant spirits and unconditional love as an adult! The most extensive pet sitting gig I have had was living in someone's home for 6 months while I took care of their spunky golden retriever and two cats. Can't wait to hear from you!

Kaitlyn was great! She came to our house for a meet and greet about a week before our scheduled sitting, which was very appreciated. She sent plenty of updates while we were away and took our dog outside as much as possible, including a hiking trip. Kaitlyn is professional, communicative and a true animal lover. Would highly recommend!
Kaitlyn is awesome. She is responsible, dependable, and reliable. Our dog Daisy Mae was comfortable and relaxed when we return from an extended vacation (on two different occasions). We highly recommend Kaitlyn and will book her again 100%.
Kaitlyn was great! I am always hesitant about leaving my cat and home when traveling, and my cat was in a good mood when I came home. I'll definitely be reaching back out to her for future stays!

I have a super friendly and playful pup who can keep your dog company (always supervised outside of the crate). I LOVE working on training, tricks, and enrichment activities with dogs so your pup may also come home with some new skills :)

A typical day
I love to be outside! So you can guarantee your pet will get plenty of exercise. I enjoy walks around the neighborhood and nearby parks. When permissible, I will event take your dog on a hike! When I'm not outside, I also enjoy reading, writing, creating, cooking, and relaxing at home. Many snuggles with your pet are guaranteed.

Availability
I have a high-energy dog of my own, so my daily routine is already based around a pup’s daily needs. This usually consists of a morning walk and play in the yard, breakfast, mid-day snooze, and a second round of exercise in the evening. Your dog would also be invited to join us on weekend adventures such as hikes or parks. Of course there’s also lots of time to decompress with snuggles and enrichment games.
