Pet care experience
Sorry, no cats. My whole life I have owned a dog! My lab Groovy recently passed. It’s too soon for me to take on another dog, so rover seemed like the perfect fit for me! I have a background in house sitting/ dog sitting & have always heard great feedback! From feeding, bathing, long walks or beach visits, your dog will always be spoiled by me. Easy and efficient drop off, and my dogs had fun. After verifying with me if it was okay to do so, she took my dogs with her to visit her mom and let the dogs play with her mom’s dog and with her 5 year old niece as well. My dogs adore children, so I know they liked that! She even gave my dogs a much needed bath (they are country dogs and had obviously been rolling in something smelly and likely dead on the morning of my booking and I hadn’t had time to bathe them before dropping them off).
I could assume Soju had a good time with Kaitlyn. She took Soju out on a long and Soju was fed because he did not eat again at night. I would've appreciated update pictures of Soju from Kaitlyn periodically but we did not communicate on that so it's okay. The only thing that bothered me was Kaitlyn left Soju with her stepfather because she had forgotten that she had signed up for a yoga class right before our pickup time, which I find unacceptable considering she was paid to watch our dog. I was happy to see Soju was with someone during his pickup time, although I would've appreciated if the person was Kaitlyn herself.
Kaitlyn was not able to watch Maya during our scheduled time and asked her step dad to watch the dog for her. We showed up during the scheduled pick up time and no one was home at all. Maya was in the back yard by herself. The gate to the back yard was not even locked so we were able to go back there and pick her up without talking to anyone. Not a safe situation, would not recommended.
Kaitlyn was great! My pups enjoyed coming back and even ran to her front door to greet her. I highly recommend having Kaitlyn watch your pups for as long as you need. She’s communicative and very trusting. Will definitely have Kaitlyn hang with the pups again next time I’m in Tahoe!

I have a fenced yard right across the street from a golf course and 5 minutes from the beach. I have a large tree in the back for shade when the days get hot. I require all dogs who are boarding to be house trained. Bathing is an extra $50! Any dietary restrictions/ plans need to be discussed and provided.

Dietary restrictions, potty training, vaccinations, schedule, & expected experience for your dog. If your dog has a medical condition I need to know prior to care. Please come prepped with food, dog poop bags & a leash. Bathing is extra $60. If your dog needs to be bathed but is not good with bathing please bring muzzle.
A typical day
I’m a huge beach/ park person! I will spend my days laying on a blanket in the grass or swimming. With your pet I will be taking many trips to the park and beach, lots of attention and stimulation.
