Pet care experience
I have been walking dogs, caring for cats, and house/pet-sitting for families since 2015, and have been around animals since I can remember. I have two 6 year old kitties of my own, so I deeply empathize with the need to have someone you trust in your home/caring for your critters. I worked at a doggy daycare a few years ago and learned lot of valuable information about caring for other's pets. I'm dedicated to keeping your pets happy, entertained, and safe for as long as they are in my care. I also have experience with less conventional pets, such as goats, tarantulas, chickens, lizards, guinea pigs, etc. While I love dogs and have lots of experience with them, I do qualify myself as a "cat-person", and have won the hearts of many a skittish/wary kitty (I've been referred to as a "cat whisperer" by friends and former clients) :) I hope you'll consider me when picking your next pet-sitter, as I would love to hang out with your animals!

Amazing sitter! My cats are so clearly happy when they watch them! Definitely will be using them as my sitter indefinitely :)
So lucky and grateful for Kaitlin taking such good care of my kitty babies. I love getting the daily photos seeing them play and snuggle with her. I miss them a lot when I'm away and feel a peace of mind knowing they are in such good hands.
Kaitlin did a great job with our three kitties. They were happy, chill and in great shape when we got back. It was no hassle from our end and her reports helped assure us everything was going fine!
She was the best! This was my first time using rover and I am so lucky to have found her to take care of my two cats. I loved how responsive she was and the daily photos! She took good care of them with lots of play and it was nice to see them warming up to her during the visits. I will definitely be using her again for my next two upcoming trips. Thanks Kaitlin!

Please inform me of any aggressive tendencies or behavioral problems beforehand. I am somewhat flexible concerning this, but absolutely need to know if an animal is aggressive, possessive over food or its kennel, etc. to assess if we are a good fit.
A typical day
If allowed, I love to take dogs up Chautauqua or on long meandering walks; sunshine and happy animals are things that greatly spark joy for me :-) for cats, please let me know what their favorite toy/treat/form of play is, and I'll make sure to do that with them! also happy to brush cats for free, or trim nails for an extra fee (only on cats that are already used to having their nails trimmed) I've also had success teaching a few cats how to sit, and "high five", if you'd like me to try with yours! :-)

I'm currently in-between jobs/doing part-time work, so I currently have a very flexible schedule. For now, anytime of day is fine, and I would let you know ASAP if/when that changes!
