Growing up I loved taking care of our family pets at one point we joked it was Noah’s Ark because we have had it all: a orange tabby, a cocker spaniel, a lab/chow chow mix, a jack russel, parakeets, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, frogs, and fish. I’ve taken care of friends cats and dogs while they’re out of town over the years with their sizes ranging from 10 lbs to 140 lbs. I’ve worked in a vet clinic at a front desk and have knowledge how to take care of dogs with special needs and diets, and additionally I have fostered various breeds of dogs while they were finding their furever home. This included Akitas, german short hairs, pit bulls, mountain cur, and labs.

I have a fenced in yard, dog camera, and a dog park right next to my neighborhood. I can be in your home overnight or make visits throughout the day, I can be available to stay with the dog all day or just come over to take them on walks and make sure their fed, let me know your kitty or pups needs and I will customize the experience for them!

A typical day
I like to take dogs on walks around parks/neighborhoods they are familiar with where they can play freely without potential impacts to their health and well being. If they have a regular dog park I will take them there but do not introduce dogs to new parks for the first time while watching them. Additionally I like to spend time providing dogs enrichment with food puzzles, treats, games, and time together.

Availability
November, December, and January is the off season of my seasonal job working as a Field Coordinator at a Non-profit. While I petsit for friends while they are out of town in season I have a lot of availability over the next few months to meet the various needs of more clients. I plan on continuing these offerings as I can support dogs and cats properly with my schedule when I return to my non-profit position in January.
