This summer I would love to care for your furry friends before I move to start my first teaching job! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and care. I also keep the home clean and respect the owner’s instructions for routines, medications, crate schedules, or any special needs. I understand that every pet is different, so I adjust my care based on their personality and energy level. Some pets need extra play and activity, while others need a calm environment and patience. I also make communication a priority by sending updates and pictures so owners feel confident and connected while they are away.

Before watching a pet, I like to know important details such as their feeding schedule, medications, allergies, energy level, favorite activities, bathroom routine, and any behaviors or triggers to be aware of. I also appreciate knowing how they interact with other animals and people, so I can make sure they stay comfortable, safe, and happy while in my care.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and comfortable while their owners are away! Depending on the pet’s personality and energy level, we may go on walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, enjoy outdoor time, play with toys, practice basic commands, or just relax together with plenty of cuddles and attention. I always try to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while sticking to their normal routine as much as possible.

I treat every pet like they are my own and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Over the past four years, I have cared for family and friends’ dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, which has helped me become patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s needs. I am comfortable caring for energetic puppies, including helping reinforce routines and basic behaviors, as well as older dogs who may need a slower pace, extra patience, medication reminders, or additional attention. I also make it a priority to keep owners updated with communication and pictures so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands.

Kaitlin was wonderful with both Blizzard and Watusi. They were both happy, well fed and very relaxed once I finally made it home. Kaitlin went above and beyond arranging the feeding schedule and making sure my guys were going to get the right food, meds, and feeding locations due to a last minute change to my schedule that added a day, and that she was unavailable for that night. She truly cares for animals and wants to see the best for them. I absolutely will call on Kaitlin to watch Blizzard and Watusi any time! She receives a gold star!!
Kaitlin is phenomenal! She took excellent care of our fur babies while we were traveling. She followed instructions and reached out with extra considerations. We felt secure knowing our pups (and home) were in good hands. We would absolutely recommend her to others.
Kaitlin has the magic touch! My generally shy cat Watusi was in the kitchen posing for pictures the first day! Blizzard my dog loves anyone who'll give him a treat. Kaitlin kept them both happy and fed, along with plenty of pats, pics and snacks. She was also willing to water my outdoor plants, but with all the rain I haven't had a chance to see if she really needed to. I definitely recommend Kaitlin as a pet sitter and will be checking to see if she's available the next time I travel!
Kaitlin was a great sitter for Kira! We came home to a calm and happy pup, and everything went smoothly. We would definitely consider booking with her again in the future.
