I didn’t have dogs growing up and now can’t be away from them! I had roommates in college and after college that had dogs and I loved helping out with them. When I met my boyfriend, now husband, he came with the cutest little pup and let’s be honest, Louie is the real reason I said yes to a first date 😉. I am responsible, outgoing, kind, pay attention to detail, and love being outside! I am a nurse which allows for my schedule to be flexible during the week. I would love to be active with your dog, go for a walk or short run, but I also love sitting and cuddling or playing with toys. I am the girl that stops and asks to pet every dog that walks by! I would love to hang out with your pup during the day when you’re unable to!

Kaitlin was AMAZING!! She was so pleasant and communicative, I was so impressed. I was grateful at how quickly she responded to me, how respectful she was to my home and the love she clearly has for our Murphy! She sent pictures and did all that we asked for Murphy! I would highly recommend Kaitlin and will be using her again!
Kaitlin takes care of my dog Louie all of the time. He gets very anxious sometimes and doesn’t like to be left alone with many people. The first time I left him with Kaitlin he was so excited to meet her and instantly became comfortable around her. She always does a great job with Louie and she is always my first choice when I need someone to help out.
My dog, Finnegan and lived with Kaitlin for 2 years-- most of Finn's life. He is a lab mix rescue dog from the humane society. She has assisted me in raising him from 8 weeks old. She has helped me train him in potty training, behavior training, leash walking/running etc. I would describe Kaitlin as Finn's favorite person in the world. She has "puppy-sat" for me multiple times while I have been on vacation and she is always the first person I call when I need a puppy sitter. She knows how to handle his energetic, slightly anxious personality and provides so much love and attention.

I will allow your dog to come to me or smell me to gain their trust before going for a walk. If your dog needs to be in a kennel when I leave, I will ensure kennel is locked up. I follow instructions, so you let me know what works best for you and your family!

I think it would be helpful to know if they are timid or shy around new people as well as other dogs. I also think it’s important to know if you’re working on any commands or training such as no jumping or licking.
A typical day
I would love to go on walks around the lake, neighborhood, dog park if they enjoy being around other dogs, anywhere really! I would love to play fetch or tug of war together as well as sitting and petting your puppy dog!

Availability
I work as a nurse, 12 hour shifts, which allows me a few days off a week. I always have Wednesdays off otherwise my schedule is flexible.
