I grew up with dogs, and haven't met a dog or cat that I didn't love. I have a wide circle of friends and family that have pets and am regularly called upon to take care of their fur-babies while they are gone. This is in addition to my own two dogs and two cats at home, of course. I also completed a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2015, so I have educational and hands-on experience working in the veterinary industry. I can give oral and injected medications to both dogs and cats, and can provide nursing care if required for special needs. I'm very observant of changes in mood, eating and drinking, and elimination to quickly assess any issues that may arise. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, from dachshunds to greyhounds and everything mixed or in between. I can do snuggles for the snugglers, and walks and play for the energetic. I love the kitties, too, and am a big fan of "cat-on-lap" time. I have a soft spot especially for senior dogs and cats, with or without special needs. All of my fur-kids are at least 8 years old and I know what it is like to worry when I go away, even for a weekend, that they are getting the love and attention they require. You can be confident that I will treat your pets as if they were my own while they are in my care.
