Pet care experience
Hello! I have been doing pet care for many years, having worked on and off since 2008 - my first job as a dog walker at Creature Comforts in Boston, MA. After college I worked at Fetch Petcare in Pittsburgh. I love running my own business in the field now and have been on Rover since 2015. I have previously volunteered at the (formerly) Western PA Humane Society and have fostered large dogs in the past.
Reviews
Kaitlin was a wonderful watcher. We felt comfortable right away, as did our pup, scout. Our dog has a lot of energy and Kaitlin handled it perfectly. Her home was clean and we didn't need to worry about our curious dog getting into anything dangerous. We were given updates everyday and if we had questions Kaitlin responded quickly.
Always in touch and took great care of my puppy. I would book again when needed !
Kaitlin is wonderful with dogs. Sad she’s moving but would highly recommend her.
Midge know Kaitlin's name now and gets so excited to go to her house and play with her friends!

Safety, trust & environment
Currently, with the dog "mystery illness" going around the last couple months, I am only hosting dogs from 1-2 households at a time, with health screening questions prior to meeting. Dogs of all ages and breeds welcome. Due to my home's small size, boarding is limited to dogs 75# and under. I love pits and bully breeds; they are some of my absolute favorite dogs. Like any terriers, they can get overly stimulated during play, which is why it is so important to have a human around to call for time outs! Play time is ALWAYS supervised, no matter the breeds of dogs around. Please make sure whatever sitter you choose understands dog body language and intends to fully supervise their charges - even the most docile dog can meet another dog they simply don't like - and left alone, this can cause trouble.

Information Kaitlin K. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know your pets' temperament with strangers, and their favorite things! What don't they like? What might they find scary on a walk?
A typical day
The dogs play in the fenced yard and indoors; my living/dining room gives them plenty of room to romp and wrestle. Couch potatoes also welcome! Currently open to daycare for previous clients only, please message me to discuss before sending a request.

Availability
I'm currently working only part-time outside of my home, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to play with your pups as much as possible!
