Always Fun No Matter The Dog I Have
Pet care experience
I have worked with dogs for the past 2 years, as part of a company that provides pet care for animals being shipped all over the world. From that job, I have learned many different aspects of dog behavior, feeding and nutrition, grooming, first aid, as well as have been exposed to many different breeds. In addition to the skills I've already mentioned, in the event of an emergency, I'm able to get your pet to a regular vet or a 24-hour emergency clinic. Also, for about 2 years before that, I took care of peoples' animals and homes while I was finishing my undergraduate and graduate studies. Some of those clients continue to ask me when I'll be able to take care of their pets again, and word travels fast- I have quite a few new potential clients as a result! When me and your dog go out for a walk, I carry treats and poo bags, and will have access to portable dishes, kibble, and wet food if we go out to the dog park for the day. In addition, I've got access to kibble, wet food, toys, treats, poo bags, Greenies Pill Pockets, and a well-stocked first aid kit to use while taking care of your furry friend.

Information Kaitlin J. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if the dog is on any medications and if so, what the dosages are. Also, I keep a stash of treats on me when I'm with the dogs I take care of, so I also want to know if your dog has any allergies or sensitivities that I should be aware of, especially if your dog is on a prescription veterinary diet and cannot have anything else. I'd also like to know if your dog has any favorite toys or games they like to play. My preferences: I love shar pei puppies, Chinese Cresteds, cocker spaniels, Neapolitan mastiffs, Boerboels, great danes, cane corsos, pit bulls...The list goes on. I may be a woman, but I get some crazy looks when I walk the huge dogs at work. Someone said to me once at work that they didn't think a girl could walk that huge dog (I was walking a South African Boerboel that was 200 pounds). Bonus points if your dog is a big dog and a total love muffin- I love it when the big dogs are total love muffins and you can cuddle them just like a little dog.
A typical day
We'd go on walks around the neighborhood. Also, we might go to one of the dog parks in the area, or make some homemade treats for your dog to keep and enjoy of course! We'd also play in the house a lot, and make your dog's time with me as comfortable as possible.
