As soon as I can own an animal sanctuary I will. Cats, dogs, horses, chickens, bunnies you name it, I want to rescue them all! I love all animals especially the furry ones 🐶🐱🐹🐰🐴🐮 I grew up around animals, our family had 3 rescue cats, my relatives had 3 cats I would visit frequently. Since I was a teenager, I’ve taken care of various cats and dogs from a day to over a week alongside caring for my own. Currently I have 2 grey tabby cats I’ve adopted from local shelters. I’ve taken of several cats and dogs for friends, family and neighbours over the past 10 years. Kaitlin was a phenomenal pet sitter. She stayed in our home and cared for our dog and cats. She went above and beyond in their care, the communication was superb every step of the way via photos and updates. Our dog was totally smitten with her. The house was clean and tidy on our return with laundry looked after also. I would very highly recommend Kaitlin she genuinely cares for the pets and goes that extra mile.
Kaitlin has been an excellent walker for Atari. He didn't take long to warm up to her and that was a really good sign. Thank you Kaitlin for all your help and we will definitely be booking with her in the future
Kaitlin house sat for our two little dogs. We had never had anyone house sit before and Kaitlin surpassed our expectations. She was kind, attentive and very caring towards our two doggies. She sent photos and video updates regularly. She was a wonderful house guest. She left the apartment clean and tidy when we came home and was very respectful living in our space. Our dogs loved her - we have two rescues one of which is very timid and she warmed up to Kaitlin almost instantly. We will definitely be using Kaitlin again!

What to expect when I care for your pet: - While housesitting, I will be respectful of your space and belongings. I am a very tidy guest and love to ensure laundry, dishes and light cleaning is completed upon your arrival - Will make sure your pets are dressed accordingly for the weather (i.e. booties & jackets) - Will always ensure fresh water and food if applicable is available for your pets - Bathing your pets when they get dirty + wiping paws after walks - Playtime throughout the day and walks, depending on their energy level - Snuggles, lots of snuggles! - Proper disposal of pet waste and ensuring the litter box is scooped every time I visit - A very happy pet upon your return!

A typical day
I love to go for walks in the many parks Brantford has to offer! I like to give dogs access to grass for bathroom time and sniffing. For cats and dogs I like to allow them to sniff me upon arrival for as long as they need to feel comfortable. Cleaning the litter box/taking the dog out to use the bathroom comes right after introduction treats! I am very attentive to your pets needs. I will stay in your home for as long as you like to keep your pet company, I can assure you we will have lots of snuggles, playtime and they will get endless pets and unconditional love!

Availability
Currently, I am taking a year off between graduating from university and starting a full time job and would love to spend my days taking care of your animals! In my home, I am the primary caretaker to my cat and 2 guinea pigs. I am looking to fill my days with dog walks and lots of animal snuggles! Having no weekly obligations or scheduled activities allows me to be very flexible according to your needs! I change my Guinea pig cage once a day, scoop my cats litter, snuggle, play and feed him x3 a day! I am happy to offer 24/7 care if your schedule requires it (ie shift work or overnights). Also happy to wake up early to take your pets for walks/feed them if need be!
