Pet care experience
Growing up my family always had at least 3 dogs at a time. So a true home isn't a home unless animals are present! I love all animals, but allergic to cats, so truly only open to dog sitting and dog walking. Being an experienced dog owner, I know how it feels to never want to leave your pet at home as I prefer bringing them along on the adventure. (Car rides, hiking, pet friendly resturants, dog parks etc.) I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and currently have a 1.5 year old cockapoo named Ranger. Additionally I find joy in helping others care for theirs!

Kaitlin was incredibly helpful when my dog made a mess of my house before she came to walk him. She went above and beyond to clean up the mess and took very good care of him on their walks and afterwards!
Kaitlin was wonderful, communicated well, and sent lots of pictures! So grateful that she cared for my fur child while I was out of town! I’ll definitely ask her again!
Kaitlin was excellent with my 12 year old rescue. She took her on long walks and provided consistent communication the entire week. She wasn't afraid to ask questions and even took care of my house plants! I'll definitely be rebooking.
Kaitlin is one of the most kind and caring caregiver to pets. She is so great in encouraging the dogs to run and play when she is with them and is able to build a quick and secure connection. She loves the outdoors and would make sure your loved pet would get the opportunity to explore. I highly recommend Kaitlin for pet needs. She’s simply the best!

When dog sitting or walking, I personally like to know the animals routine and what they enjoy/what they should be staying away from so while the family is out they can rest assured. We own a dog friendly house with fenced in yard, but my preference is to stay with the animal in the environment they are used to, to reduce any stress.

Would love to know if they are aggresive at all. While I consider myself a dog whisperer, it's never fun being caught off guard and know the pups triggers. Favorite treats? Allergies? Medicines? Anxiety? Favorite local spots :) (in & out of the house)
A typical day
I am an avid outdoors gal, so all the walks, frisbee/ball throws, cuddles and hiking if approved! Living in Des Moines there are so many outdoor places to visit.

My husband and I live in Des Moines, Iowa. I've worked fully remote for over 3 years now and have flexibility to walk your dogs throughout the day or stay with them should you be out of town!
