Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong animal lover and pet owner who has extensive experience with cats, dogs, rodents, and horses. I have looked after dogs, cats, horses, and hobby farm livestock while owners are away, and I pride myself in being very thorough and communicative. I pay close attention to detail, follow instruction, and I'm very patient and compassionate with animals who are shy of strangers. I began pet sitting in my early teens, hence many years of experience! I also have years of experience working in animal care in roles such as Barn Manager and Vet Assistant (equine clinic), and have experience working in pet food and supply retail.

If you are looking forward to someone detail orientated and trutworthy, Kaiti is your person! Kaiti took excellent care of my senior corgi while I was away. She followed the medication and exercise schedule perfectly. I felt extremely at ease leaving my precious girl with Kaiti knowing Kaiti's history working at a large animal vet clinic. I have also worked with Kaiti at an equestrian center. Her level of care and love of the horses was truly remarkable.

I'm happy to do drop in visits for cats and small/medium dogs. Feeding, medications, yard time, walks, snuggles, litterbox and pet waste cleaning as needed. Particularly experienced with senior animals, and with long-backed dogs (dachshunds, corgis). Sometimes our long-backed friends need special considerations! Don't hesitate to contact me if you have other small pets besides cats and dogs, or if you have livestock. I'm also happy to water plants as needed.
