Pet care experience
I’ve been housesitting for about 6 years now, and it’s one of my favorite things. I’m always honored that people would trust me with their babies, and I absolutely love meeting new pups and being able to spend time with them while their owners are away. Even animals who are normal cautious around new people seem to trust me, and I have learned a lot about animals body language and cues over the years. I also volunteer at the animal shelter whenever I can, and give the dogs some much needed love and care. I spent the last 8 years caring for my special needs rescue Doberman, so I have a lot of experience with pets that need extra love and care.

She did so great watching my baby!
Kaiti stayed with our 2 dogs and cat for a week! This was her first stay with our kids and everything went really well! We kind of have a complex little pup and she handled him very well! She gave him his space but also did his most favorite thing in the world…fetch! When we came home, the house was just the way we left it and we were very appreciate how quick she was when responding to us. We hope to have her watch our babies again soon!

I will not be able to care for any pets in my own home because I have a dog of my own and she’s a loner. But when caring for pets in their own home, I prefer to keep to their usual schedule as closely as possible so they’re comfortable and feel safer. And of course provide unlimited cuddles and love.

A typical day
I love to make sure pets are properly worn out and cared for. I’ll take them on walks at their favorite places, play fetch, let them sniff and explore, and anything else they like to do.

I’m currently available 7 days a week, I am looking for a new job and I love pet sitting, so I decided I could start up again while I’m searching! Hopefully that works for you, and I would love to spend my extra free time helping people with their pets.
