Hey y’all! My name is Kait and I have been working with animals for quite some years now. I have experience as a doggy daycare lead, and I was an adoption counselor at an animal shelter. I currently work as an ER tech for an animal hospital. I have advanced experience with training and daily care. I can medicate and care for geriatric furbabies. I am capable of handling any age, shape, or size, and I strive to always provide comfort to any sweet furbaby. Loving every little animal is my passion. I have had a variety of pets including dogs, guinea pigs, cats, gold fish, bearded dragons, ball pythons, and rats. Throughout my career in animalcare, I have house sat for several clients. It is my goal to keep your babies happy and stress-free while you're away. Calming exercises, cuddles, and loving is my forte to keep anxiety down and happiness up! Kait has been caring for my animals for two years now and I could not ask for a better choice. When she first started I had 3 dogs(all big) and 8 cats and she took wonderful of all of them. The animals were thrilled when she would show up and the house was always clean and in order when Would return whether it was for a night away or a 10 day vacation and I could plan on receiving updates and pictures by text from Kait while I was away. You can not go wrong choosing this young lady.
Kait is loving and kind to all animals. She has been pet sitting for my boyfriend for years and has taken care of his 3 rescue dogs (all with multiple medical/psych problems and endless medication administrations) along with 8 rescue cats (with their own issues) and she has had no difficulty with any of it. All the animals are given individual loving attention and are super excited to see her when she comes! She goes the extra mile to spend time grooming and loving on each one. She has recently taken care of all the dogs, cats, and added my horses to the mix! She has shown a great knowledge and aptitude for equines also and I am so happy with her big heart and honest integrity. She is smart, compassionate, friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She has a background in veterinary education and personal experience with many animals. You will not be disappointed.
Katelyn has been my Petsitter for my precious pups—Rufus, Rosie and Roxy. They absolutely loved her!! Even though I have a fenced in yard, she was willing to take them on walks . She was fantastic about sending pictures and videos of them to us, which made us feel much more at ease. Katelyn also made sure that she checked my mail each day and left my home just as clean as she found it! I highly recommend Katelyn as a petsitter. She is responsible, dependable, communicates on a regular basis. But the highest recommendation comes from Rufus, Rosie and Roxy. They love her!!!

James and I take walks every day. We take at least three walks through our neighborhood. He has made friends with the neighbor's pups (he's a social boy so he loves this). We take hikes and visit family together as well. James is my favorite copilot so he's an extension of myself on my time off.

I like to know what boundaries parents like to maintain with their pups. It’s also great to know the routine that the parent has in place so that I can maintain what is already in place for the pup.
A typical day
Dog walks are an important part of when I care for your pet. 15 minutes of sniffing in a new place versus 30 minutes of sniffing in a familiar area does so much for the stimulation for a pup’s mind. I'm happy to take a pup out for adventurous sniffs!
