Pet care experience
I'm an alumni of the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities with a degree in animal science with a pre-vet emphasis. I grew up with domestic and exotic animals. My professional experience began when I had a summer internship at a zoo (Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua, WI) and provided daily care for a variety of different species. I've also pet-sat for many families for over 10 years, including those with dogs who required special medications or extra attention in other areas. I have a full time job, but would like to continue working part-time with animals because I enjoy it. Until I apply for vet school, I would love nothing more than to spend my spare time with animals in an environment such as the pet care and walking field!
