I have 21+years of experience taking care of dogs. I am involved in cat rescue/trapping and work closely with GAHS, Friends of Feral Felines, HART, and Community Cat Advocates. I am the Assistant Director of Maine’s only nonprofit reptile rescue (HerpHaven Reptile Rescue and Sanctuary), and can assist with pet sitting reptiles and checking in on them when you are away. I have a category 2 permit from the State of Maine to have an Iguana and a Sulcata Tortoise. I have experience with wildlife rehabilitation and exotic animals. I am used to providing medication to animals, (injections, syringe feeding, tube feeding, etc) and understand working with animals with special needs and behavioral quirks. I am a huge animal advocate and would love to meet your pups, cats, small animals, reptiles, birds, etc. I live in Portland Thursday-Sunday with my boyfriend Julian, our dog Elliot, our 2 cats, and reptiles. I live in Turner (near Auburn) Mon-Wed with Elliot and our 6 senior dogs. I did not include our 6 senior dogs under pets because the animals I pet sit will not be coming in contact with them. I enjoy taking pet portraits in my spare time and volunteering at rescues. I went to school for Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
