Hi there! My name is Kailey, and I'm a 23-year old recent CSU graduate. I used Rover while in college and took a break while moving, but now I am back and ready to take care of your pups again! I now live in Thornton in a house, so it's a bit quieter here, but I work in Denver and can easily pick up your pup after work if you live in the city! We also have a fenced in yard and easy access to a walking path around our local lake. I grew up in South Dakota with a family that raised hunting dogs, and as soon as I moved out, I adopted and raised a puppy of my own. I also worked at an obedience school/doggy daycare in Fort Collins for two years, so I've seen a lot and am well rehearsed on handling conflict, administering medications, grooming, the different methods people have for training their dogs, the different collars used to walk them, and the different quirky personalities every dog has! I understand how difficult it can be to juggle having a dog or two, trying to work and maybe get away for a weekend. My house has a fenced backyard (a tall privacy fence) and two well socialized dogs of my own, so your dog can get a more personalized doggy daycare-like experience. I know how hard it is to leave your baby with a stranger, so I will do anything I can to make you feel comfortable (videos, photos, etc). I'd love to be able to use what I already know to help you any way I can as well!

Our dog Nellie had the best time with Kailey and her dog Millie! Kailey was professional, fun and understanding. She took care of Nellie for just over a week and I know Nellie had a great time with them! Kailey sent many photos and updates so our trip was worry free! It was so nice to know that Nellie had all the comforts of home, as opposed to a kennel, and she had a play mate to keep her busy and happy too! Kailey was super helpful by letting us drop of Nellie's giant crate, food and medication a few days before her stay and then she picked up Nellie from our house after we had left town. She was so accommodating and we would absolutely book with Kailey the next time we go out of town!

I have known Kailey since she was a little girl and she is a very hard working and honest young lady. She has looked after our two hunting dogs on many occasions, and I know several other neighbors used her services as well. She is always polite and her passion for animals, especially dogs, is obvious when talking to her. I am happy to recommend her as a dog sitter.
Hello! My name is Maxwell Swienton. Around a year ago my girlfriend (Kailey) and I adopted a dog from the Boulder Humane Society in Colorado. In my childhood I never really grew up around animals, where as she did. Her entire life she helped raise, train, and love dogs in her family household back in South Dakota. After watching her with Millie, our puppy, for around a year now, it has come to my attention that she is truly amazing with animals and has a gift for getting them to listen to her on the first instance. In addition, she also knows multiple techniques and constantly reads about how to keep dogs healthy. This includes average walks per day, how much water they need, play time, amount of food, and much more. Lastly, she has a great home environment for the dogs and a good sized yard with a fence to keep the dogs safe. All in all, Kailey would and will make the best dog sitter for anyone that is willing to give her a chance. She will not disappoint that is for sure and is 100 percent capable of loving and caring for any dog that is put into her care.

If I'm having a dog in my house, they would have to be dog friendly - since we do have a two. My dogs are good with dogs of both genders and all sizes and temperaments. I very much welcome Pitties, Rotties, Dobies and other big dogs - there is no breed discrimination here!
A typical day
I love to hike and run with my own dog, and also swim, weather permitting - if you get to know me well, and you and your dog trust me enough, I would be more than happy to take a higher-energy dog out on more than just a walk.
