Growing up, we always had at least four indoor dogs who we treated as members of our family. I truly don’t remember a time when I haven’t been caring for dogs! I have dog sat for many friends through the years and am excited to get to expand to Rover! Because I own my business and work from home, I have a very flexible schedule. I start each morning with an hour walk on a long trail near our house with Leo, our two year old terrier mix, and usually go on another afternoon/evening walk. We also make at least one trip to the dog park a week and try to go for a hike once a month. Our back yard let’s us play fetch and tag every day and is roomie enough for him to play with his border collie and bulldog cousins when they visit! Our yard is fenced in with grass and allows easy access through a doggie door on the patio. Leo is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs but is also good at taking it easy and relaxing with lower energy pups. He is a great walker and does well walking with other dogs. When other dogs are with my husband and me, we treat them with the same attention and care we give to Leo. We know how hard it can be to leave your little ones behind so are glad to provide a safe, loving environment to help ease your stress! We have a nice dog stroller you can see pictured in my profile. It holds up to 50 lbs. and allows me to take dogs out for walks who otherwise might not be able to go. I got it to take Leo out before he had his shots completed; he no longer needs it so it now comes in handy for senior dogs and dogs with injuries to get some much needed outside time!
