Ever since birth I’ve had a family dog. I have experience caring for many dogs including my own, my family’s, and my friends’. I cared for my Aussie/beagle mix through his senior years until passing at 13. I currently have a 2 y/o rescue German shepherd mix. When in my hometown, I work for a small dog-walking company where I have many different clients every day. I have experience with large, small, reactive, and shy dogs. I also have experience with cats and even some reptiles. I know how to feed, bathe, and walk dogs, as well as read their cues and keep them content while their favorite people are away.

Kailey has dog sat for us over a weekend and she has done days. She did a meet-and-greet first as well. Both of my pups absolutely loved her! My babes can be a bit much at times and they are absolutely spoiled. She didn't have any issues abiding by my requests or dealing with their hyperactive, aggresaive love. She is now our go-to trusted caregiver. We will be recommending her to anyone that asks.

Your pets will get the food they need when they need it and as much play time as they want! I know how to control dogs that pull on a leash and I will try my best to keep them engaged on walks.

I really like to know their level of reactivity just so I can take proper precautions especially if we are going to be out and about in a heavily trafficked area with other dogs and people. As long as I’m aware ahead of time of a dogs’ unique needs or quirks I will be fully able to accommodate them.
A typical day
Of course activities vary based on the dog, but I love to take dogs out to parks to get all the different smells. There are so many dog-friendly parks around Salisbury! Just walking down the street in your neighborhood can be super fun and engaging for a dog too. I try to let dogs sniff and explore while ensuring they are safe and engaged with me. I can run around with your dog, play fetch, or I can even just take them out for a ride in the car. Whatever your preference!

I’m a college student at Salisbury University looking for jobs nearby on the weekends including Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays. I’m available all weekend and to walk, feed, and sit your pets!
