Pet care experience
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING WITH ME: Up until my recent move to New Orleans, I worked at multiple veterinary clinics. I was able to acquire skills that have significantly benefited me with pet sitting. I have experience with pets of all ages, and am able to administer medications whenever needed. I love animals very much, and I would be honored to spend time with yours.

Kailey was amazing! She did twice a day drop-in visits with my 2 senior cats while we were out of town for a week. She gave one of my cats medication twice a day with no issues at all. She gave me regular updates and went above and beyond. My house was tidy when I returned home and she even left a little snack for my kids after a long car ride. We will definitely be booking with Kailey again!
Kailey was AMAZING and I will 100% hire her again! She took SUCH great care of my two cats (one needing medicine and fluids) and was great about communicating with me!! I returned to two happy and healthy cats and a very clean house! 100% recommend!
Kailey is a lifesaver! I had to leave town quickly for a family emergency and needed someone quick to watch my house plus 3 senior dogs and 2 cats. It’s not easy to find someone you feel you can trust to stay at your house and take care of a gaggle of naughty animals. Kailey was the answer! She made me feel immediately comfortable. She was warm and experienced with all the animals. She kept in regular communication with me while I was gone with updates and handled the household with ease. I am very grateful to Kailey for her help and will definitely be using her again!
Kailey was amazing with my babies! I have a German shepherd and a Siberian Husky, and Kailey took care of them as if they were her own! On top of the dogs, I also have 3 cats who Kailey made sure were fed, watered, and had clean litter boxes! I was gone for almost a week and she had sent me pictures and videos throughout the week to make sure I knew my babies were in good hands!! She did an amazing job and I will definitely use her in the future! I 10000% recommend her! Thank you so much Kailey!!!

I do not offer in-home pet sitting, as I firmly believe that every animal does best in their OWN home environment—if I am the only unfamiliar thing, that is much better than bringing them into an environment they are not used to. I take the safety of the pets I sit for very seriously. I appreciate when pet owners leave information for their preferred veterinary clinic, should their pet need any medical attention.

I like knowing about a dog’s temperament before dog sitting. I can handle any temperament, but I find that stays go much better if I am able to accommodate each dog’s needs. :)
A typical day
I love to play with the dogs in ways that complement their specific preferences and energy levels. If toys are best, we’ll play with those. If exercise is best, we’ll take some walks or go to a dog park (if allowed).

Availability
I am working full-time at a hotel in the French Quarter. If you require full-time care for your pet that exceeds a normal “house sitting” (for example, you need me to spend the entire day with your pet for each day you’ll be gone), please communicate that to me, as I will need to adjust my rates to make up for the lost hours at my regular job. I am happy to make your pet my “full-time job” while you are gone, but it will need to make financial sense for me. :)
