Pet care experience
I have been a Rover sitter for 6+ years. My profile was inactive for the past few years because of the repeat client base I built. I have seen multiple families through two generations of their dogs now. I have also seen their kids grow to the age of being able to stay home and care for their animals themselves. This means I am now open to taking new clients! My clients have relied on me for walking their pups weekly to daily, staying in their home while away, abiding by regular feeding schedules, and at home care. I have experience volunteering at the SPCA as a dog walker so I can understand and work with rescue pets. I have families who have been so appreciative of my ability to walk and care for their leash aggressive dogs. (Reminder though, I am NOT a dog trainer.) I also have a very special place in my heart for caring for senior pets.I grew up with dogs and cats in all of my family's households. I prefer larger dogs to small dogs and older dogs to puppies. I love hanging with cats too and have a Siberian Norwegian Forest cat myself named Eugene Fitzherbert.

Kailey was awesome! She stepped in at the last minute when my other sitter canceled. She was super communicative and responsive, as well as reliable and responsible. She is my new go-to sitter for my less-than-friendly herding dog.
Kailey did a great job with my two, who are a bit quirky. She stayed in touch over the time we were gone and sent photos daily as well. She followed our instructions to the "t" and was very clean and tidy as well. A very nice young lady who I would recommend highly. It's obvious she loves animals and they feel it and respond accordingly. She's well worth consideration for your house/pet sitting needs. We had the same sitter for 10 years and it was scary trying someone new. This one was a good choice!
Kailey is a wonderful dog person. She walks our 2 dogs a couple times a week. One dog (Jack) is very friendly right away but the other one (Piper) is a 'rescue' that usually doesn't take kindly to newcomers until after quite some time. After the first walk Piper seemed to want to go home with Kailey. Now we have to carefully time the announcement that "Kailey is coming" because neither one will settle down until her car arrives. When it is very hot outside Kailey even puts them in her car to take them somewhere that doesn't involve walking on the blacktop. She also takes pictures during every walk to give us an idea of the outing they had. We enjoy seeing Kailey and highly recommend her.
I cannot say enough about Kailey. She has been wonderful, reliable, and hands down amazing with our dogs Zoey and Gucci. Sending updates and pictures the entire time we are out of town. Always leaving our home in great condition and always a awesome note as to how her stay went with our beloved fur babies. She is a amazing dog and house sitter. We highly recommend her to care for your fur babies.

Safety of your animals is my utmost priority. I value positive and complete communication within our working relationship. I also believe that trust works both ways, with honesty and accountability from the owners as well.
Information Kailey E. would like to know about your pet
I will require knowing if your dogs are sociable or timid with other people, dogs or animals. I will also require that proper and correct leashes and collars are obtained for your pet depending on their ability on the leash.I would like to know if they are neutered/spayed. Make sure to let me know of any food allergies or certain items to be aware of dogs chewing. I will request to have a clear list of information about your animals schedules, routines, and needs (Preferably printed for me to easily reference.) I do not have any breed preferences (I love all dogs!- and cats!) but I do prefer to work with animals that are more low-key, like seniors. As mentioned before, I am comfortable with dogs still learning good leash behavior.I always do a meet and greet with you and your animals at your home prior to booking.
A typical day
What you can expect from me with your animals: lot's of love and attention, fun walks and playtime, lot's of photo updates, regular feeding schedules kept, happy healthy pets and a clean taken care of home to come back to! For walks during the day I normally will walk around the neighborhood or on paths near your home. If you don’t have paths, I prefer to take your dogs for a ride to walk other outdoor paths rather than just the neighborhood if your dogs require long walks. I love finding new outdoor hike walks to go on. I love to throw the ball at parks to fetch. I have taken dogs to the river area for walks and adventures when the owners are okay with it.

Availability
I currently work part time. I have minimal days a week that I am away a full 7-8 hours for work. I will only take on jobs that I can commit a valuable, appropriate, and fair amount of time to your pets. I am upfront and communicative about the time I will have to be away from your home during a home stay. If I am doing regular walks I will require a short amount of buffer time before and after for walking your pets. Rarely will the weather affect my commitment to a routine dog walk. I am currently available most days of the week to check in on your pups or walk them. Just ask me about days and times so that we can work with each others schedules to find what will work best.
