I will be moving out of the Bloomington area next year and can't yet get a dog of my own so this is the next best thing! I will take your dogs on runs and walks or just cuddle with them on the couch. I live in a medium sized apartment and the complex has both a dog park and a 10 acre wooded trail for dogs of all sizes! I am happy to be outside in all weather conditions and it is an easy walk down the stairs to take potty breaks. I don't mind dogs on my furniture. Within my lifetime I have gone 4 days without being a dog owner. I grew up with my Newfoundland, we were best friends and the same age. After he passed, my family went four days before my cocker spaniel Lovie was added to the family, and shortly after we adopted our mutt Payton! I have always been a dog person (I'm the person who pulls you to the side to have a 5 minute conversation about how great your dog is) and want to continue looking after dogs until I am in a place to get one of my own. Is your dog a people person? I currently work at a Senior Living Community here in Bloomington and they love to have doggie visitors at any time! This is purely optional but if your dog is relatively calm (is not going to play bite, won't jump all over residents, most dogs pee when excited so that's not a big deal), I would love to take them in for a visit! Like I said, this is purely optional.
