Animals are my whole life!

Pet care experience

I have a small family consisting of my husband, our 4 year old son, and our 2 dogs (Malamute/Shepherd mix and Siberian Husky). Since I have a Husky, I am very familiar with running a dog. If you have a high energy breed, I'd be more than happy to take them on a couple mile long run if you'd like. I've volunteered at animal shelters on and off for the past 5 years and I'm in the process of becoming a veterinarian. Animals are my passion and my life. Over the course of my life I've cared for many different breeds of dogs, cats, horses, rats, ferrets, rabbits, and plenty of other animals. Our home is very pet friendly where animals are allowed on the furniture and, thanks to my husky, the whole place is always covered in fur anyways so there's no problem with long haired dogs. If you would prefer to keep with the training you do at home and not allow your pet on furniture or the bed, please specify and it won't be an issue at all. I have experience walking dogs as large as my 110lb Malamute mix and as small as my neighbor's Pekingese. My son, although young, has experience with different dogs and cats and understands the boundaries he has to have. I don't discriminate against breed, size, age, ailments, or anything else. All animals are welcome in my home.

Kailee was great at communication and sent us pictures and videos of Hoover throughout his stay. It always puts our mind at ease knowing he’s so happy and cared for while were away. Will be booking again

An amazing first time experience! I was SO nervous at first, one, having never used an online pet boarding service, and two, having never left our Flynn alone for so long! Let me tell you that Kailee and her husband were AMAZING right from the get go. We met at a dog park close to our homes and we introduced Flynn to their dogs. At first everyone one was a little on edge, seeing as that it was their first time meeting, but Kailee's dogs are SUPER friendly! They do get a little excited, but Kailee and her husband have a great handle on their pups. The day came to leave Flynn with them and they were very welcoming and allowed me to stay as long as I felt I needed in order to feel comfortable leaving Flynn. Saying goodbye was the hardest part but throughout the day and the time he was there I got pictures and texts from both Kailee and her husband and let me say that was what sealed the deal for me and I knew I made the right choice using Kailee. She and her husband loved my Flynn just as much as I did! I could tell this was true through the pictures of how Flynn was laying with them on the couch and the happy look in his eyes! I would highly recommend using Kailee for your pet sitting needs! Her attention and love for the animals is amazing and I know I'll be using her services again in the future! Thank you again Kailee!

Information Kailee W. would like to know about your pet

How are they with cats? Other dogs? Children? Are there any food or toy aggression? Can they walk on a leash? Anything the owner would like to give up about their history or individual quirks, I could listen to an owner talk about their animal all day long.

A typical day

We go on both early morning and late night walks around base (far too hot and dangerous in the summer to go during the day with the asphalt getting over 100 degrees easily), play fetch, work on manners and tricks. Because of the heat we spend most of the actual day time in doors, but there's still plenty of room to run around and play. The evening and morning is when most of the out door activities are explored. I regularly take my husky for runs, roughly 3 miles, and would be more than happy to take your dog for one as well.
