Pet care experience
My past experience includes taking care of my 13-year-old chihuahua mix and various family dogs. With having a senior dog, I have had extensive experience training and caring for dogs of all ages. I have experience with house-sitting, dog park visits, and doggy beach days. I am also able to take energetic dogs on long walks and runs. In fact, the more outside time and exercise a dog gets, the better. I know how to bathe a dog and administer medications if needed. All my friends and family can attest that I am a true dog lover and very responsible. I just love dogs and if you choose me I will treat your fur babies with the utmost love and care as if they were my own.

Kaila was great! She cared for our two senior Springer Spaniels and gave them a lot of attention during her stay of ten days. She handled their special diets and medications perfectly (one of them has twice daily pills, ear wash, and eye ointment requirements). The dogs always looked so happy in the pictures she sent of their walks. Also she is lightning fast in communication, but lets you set the timing of communication that you need! If I wanted, she would provide daily check-ins, but I also appreciated how capable she was so that I felt like I could enjoy my vacation and check-in as needed. I would absolutely rebook Kaila!

Additionally, I always adhere to all of the owner’s parameters and suggestions for taking care of their dogs. My rule is: Leave every home better than you found it! I promise you will come home to a clean and tidy house and a happy dog!

A typical day
My current dog walking schedule is mornings Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. During these days I walk dogs through trails in Goleta and beach walks in Santa Barbara. My favorite places to go are Tucker's Grove, Jesusita Trail, Hendry's Beach, More Mesa Preserve, and Ellwood Preserve. Most days, my regular pack and I average 3-4 miles. Expect a medium-to-high intensity walk for your pup during these walks!

Availability
I am currently booking for all weekends and November 15th-27th when I am completely off-work. THANKSGIVING AVAILABILITY! My normal schedule is part-time nannying and I have plenty of time for a early morning walk and I’m home by early afternoon. I am able to have puppies accompany me to my work if needed. I do not have any trips planned from now (Oct 23rd 2022-Jan 1st 2023). I CANNOT ACCEPT PET BOARDING AT THE MOMENT.
