Pet care experience
I started working with pets at the age of 10 when I began taking the neighbor’s dog for walks on a daily basis. I was fortunate enough to grow up with two family dogs (one large and one small) and take on the majority of the responsibility of caring for them on a daily basis as the oldest sibling and with parents that worked long hours. Since graduating college, I have adopted two amazing animals of my own: Nova, a beautiful dog with a love for people and the outdoors, and Chungi, a chunky cat with a love for his family and snacks. Due to both of my pets being rescues with less than desirable pasts, I have developed a strong knowledge of working with anxious pets and catering to their unique needs and comfort levels.

I live in a townhome with plenty of walking trails and dog parks nearby. I have a dog that loves to meet new friends and could use some socialization throughout the day. I also have a cat that is open to meeting new friends but can easily be put in his own space if your furbaby does not react well to cats.

A typical day
I have plenty of walking trails near my home song with several large dog parks within a 10 min drive. On a typical day, my dog and I will walk for 30 mins in the afternoon and go to an off leash dog park in the evening. My car is equipped with dog seat belts to ensure the safety of your pet if driving is required. I also regularly set up scent detection games for my dog throughout the day to prevent boredom. On top of that, we have a heaping pile of toys that my dog is more than happy to share!

Availability
I currently work from home as a Consultant and have flexibility in the late mornings, afternoons, and evenings with at least a one day notice. I am also flexible most weekends. On a daily basis, my dog goes for a 30 min afternoon walk and to the dog park in the evenings.
