Pet care experience
We are Kaidy and James! My family have always had dogs but working away during the week has meant that myself and my partner have had to just be weekend pet sitters and walkers for friends and and neighbours for now. We’d love to do this on a more regular basis though! We are lucky to live close to lots of great walks in Shrewsbury love taking dogs out for longer hikes if the owners are happier for us to do so.

Kaidy is very patient and kind when it comes to looking after furry friends. Kaidy and her partner have a very loving home that suited our cocker spaniel perfectly when we went on our honeymoon. Our dog, Rainy, can be anxious in new places but she settled in perfectly and did not want to leave when we tried to take her back home after 2 weeks! Kaidy has a spacious garden with lots of plants and an allotment which meant that Rainy had lots of sniffing opportunities, even when just going out for a wee :) Kaidy kept up with Rainy’s eating/walking schedule perfectly which meant it was super easy to transition her back into our home when we came back from holiday. Kaidy would be our number one choice as dog sitter for our next trip away and we would have no concerns at all. Lovely having someone in our address book that we can rely on.
Finley loves staying at Kaidys. Communication is always great with reagular pupdates and photos! I know he is safe and loved whilst he is there, I highly recommend. Thanks Kaidy!

We have a large fenced garden. I have 5 Guinea pigs which live in the garage (can be closed in). No children and no other inside pets. Depending on the owners request, we’re happy to put a throw on the sofa so pooches can come up for a hug in the evening.

A typical day
We’re lucky to live in a house with a big garden and are also very close to the Rec, the local nature reserve, Castlewalk field, the Quarry, and some less busy walks further afield. We love longer walks in the countryside if the dogs travel well in the car.

We work full time so can accommodate a dog from Friday night to Sunday where we’re available to the whole stretch. We can work to you or your dogs schedule.
