Pet care experience
I am a 3rd year Human Biology major at UCSD, and I am also a pitcher on the NCAA Division 1 softball team. I am a certified EMT, so I can definitely keep your furry best friend safe! I have had a dog for 11 years, and have gone for walks and runs with him consistently. As he has gotten older I have also had to administer medication both orally and through injections, both of which I am comfortable doing. I have looked after dogs for my friends while they were away many times and love doing so! I am on-time, extremely reliable, and detail oriented. I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them and since I'm now away from home in college I really miss seeing my dog daily. I am patient and stay calm under pressure, and I never shy away from a challenge. I am well liked by all the dogs I know personally and I'm sure yours will like me too! I am working part-time and have tons of time to look after your pet! I love playing with dogs and helping to get their energy out! I also love lounging with older or less energetic dogs! I currently live in a townhouse with roommates so I am not able to take your pet to my house. However, I am extremely respectful of other people's homes and will be diligent in ensuring your pet is comfortable and relaxed around me!

Kaia was amazing. I don’t go on trips often because I get anxiety leaving my dogs with people I don’t know or trust. And she did a great job communicating and answering messages in a timely manner. She managed to take care of our zoo (cat, 2 dogs, and a macaw) and appeared to have a great time doing it. She followed directions well and was flexible with our changes in schedule. Will definitely rebook and would recommend anyone else to book her for their dog sitting or walking needs as well.
Wow, where do I even begin?! Kaia you were absolutely amazing with our Poppy girl. We are so thankful you were able to help us last minute with our first Rover experience. Thank you so very much!!!! I was so happy to get so many pictures and updates throughout the night & it really put me at ease! She was so happy in every photo and at the end of the night when we came home. So we know she had a great time!! We are so grateful, thank you for spending time with our Poppy this evening!! So thrilled!!!
Kaia came to the rescue with a last minute notice ON A HOLIDAY and I could not be more thankful! She was a great help, she was timely and attentive and kept me updated throughout the stay. She made sure Athena had plenty of exercise, love and affection. She even picked up poop bags when I ran out and was patient with anything I needed during the stay. I would and will rebook Kaia without hesitation and I would HIGHLY recommend her to take care of anyone’s dog, she is truly amazing at what she does!

A typical day
I love to play with dogs with tug of war, fetch (I'm a D1 softball player so I'm very good at throwing the ball!), or just running around! I adapt well to the needs of each dog, whether that means more frequent outings or more snuggle time. I will send you plenty of pictures of us having fun!
