Though I had pets my entire life growing up (cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, crabs, you name it!), I rescued my first animal that was to be my sole responsibility at the age of 15. Jazz, the most cuddly cat, was with me for 15 years. I was honored to give her daily IV's and make sure she was as comfortable as possible as she battled kidney disease for the last 1.5 years of her life. Since then I've had a dog of my own (the most precious pitbull mix!), have done an exuberant amount of cat and dog sitting and dog walking for friends, and have been an honorary parent and caretaker to past partners' dogs. I CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE ANY ANIMALS OF MY OWN, so I have plenty of time and availability to pour my full love and care into yours! I feel that I have a very special connection with animals, especially dogs and cats. My friends call me the animal whisperer, as they tend to take to me right away. I cannot walk past a dog without saying hi and outdoor cats love to walk directly up to me for some loving as I walk past them. When taking care of your precious furry companions, you can expect me to go above and beyond. I will love on them and take care of them as if they were my own. I will honor their needs for any space or time to help them build trust with me, and I will enjoy every moment getting to know their one-of-a-kind personalities! I have experience training dogs who are leash reactive, and also do very well with cats and dogs that are more timid and may take some time to warm up to new people. I do great with dogs of all sizes! I'm also VERY skilled at de-furring homes and would be more than happy to do a deep cleaning of your house while I'm staying there for an add on fee which can be discussed at our meet and greet!
