Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my whole life, from puppies to seniors. Recently my dog of 10 years passed away from cancer, and I miss having a dog around! Rudy didn’t like other dogs and hated to be alone, and it was always really difficult to find somewhere affordable for him to stay where he wouldn’t feel anxious the whole time. I want to help someone else’s Rudy. I only take one dog at a time (though I do have two cats) and I work from home, so your best friend will always have someone around and won’t have to endure the stress of a traditional boarding facility. Senior dogs are no problem, I already have doggie stairs for easy furniture access and am happy to accommodate any medications or special feedings. I also used to work at a pet daycare and boarding facility, and am able to apply the safety and well-being expertise I learned there in a custom, personal experience for your pet so they can have a safe and fun stay. I’m happy to help, and will love them like my own until you get back!

Thank you as always for taking such good care of Bindi!
When the time came for my trip, my little dog was having stomach issues. Kaelyn was very gracious and caring for my dog and made me feel better about leaving her. Thanks so much Kaelyn!!
Kaelyn was Amazing! My dog was so happy. She takes the extra time to care for your pet.

I live in an apartment, so there is no yard. I can take your dog on walks around the neighborhood instead, and there are many parks and trails nearby. I’m able to crate dogs, administer medication and handle specific dietary needs. I have two cats who are both great with dogs who respect their space.

Information Kaelyn C. would like to know about your pet
I have two cats, and cannot bring dogs who are aggressive toward them into my home. If your pets have any medical conditions or allergies, please let me know! I’m able to accommodate medication schedules. It’s also helpful to know what kind of things you do in your day to day according to your pet’s likes and dislikes. For example, my dog hated other dogs, so I took him on walking routes where I didn’t have to worry as much about him seeing another dog. All dogs are different, so just let me know what kind of adjustments help your pet live its best life and I’m happy to incorporate those during their stay.
A typical day
I’ll start the day with breakfast and a nice walk around the neighborhood. If your dog likes toys, we’ll get some playtime in, and then we’ll hang out together for a few hours. If your dog enjoys being outside, we can go for a hike on one of the nearby trails! If you’ve got more of a couch potato, I have plenty of TV to catch up on. I have dog puzzles and other enrichment activities as well, and am happy to work on any training or commands. Since I live in an apartment, I make sure your dog is going out on plenty of potty breaks and end the day with a nice, long walk and dinner. Nothing happens in my house until all the pets are taken care of!
