Pet care experience
I’ve had pets my whole life and am very passionate about them! In the last 8 or so years I’ve worked in the vet field, and am currently working at a vet clinic now as a kennel worker/receptionist/vet assistant. I went to school for veterinary technology but unfortunately didn’t finish. I’ve also had some experience working in a vet ER which I think definitely comes in handy. During my life I’ve had cats, dogs, fish, a rabbit, and a couple of hamsters. I have a strong love for animals so I really enjoy taking care of them and spending time with them.

Our pup and kitty LOVE Kaelin!! We’ve had her pet sit for the past 2 Christmas breaks and she’s been wonderful. Our dog is very high maintenance (kidney issues, IBS, and he’s blind) and it’s such a relief knowing he’s well taken care of while we’re away.
Kaelin is amazing! She stayed with our cat and high-maintenance dog over the holidays, and they absolutely loved her. We felt so at ease knowing she was with our boys, and an extra bonus knowing she’s training to be a vet tech and works at an emergency vet clinic! Highly recommend hiring her.
Kaelin is a natural when it comes to taking care of animals. Her experience at the vet’s office put our mind at ease when it came to the responsibility of our pups. She is very kind and easy going and met our every expectation.

I will let them out every couple hours for potty breaks and if they are used to going on walks I will do that too. I’ll feed at the specified time and am very diligent when it comes to medication. My goal is for them to be as comfortable as possible under my care.

No breed or size preference for dogs. I’d just like to know about any special quirks such as a dog that is possessive of food or toys or is reactive to certain things on a walk etc. I’ve had plenty of experience with dogs and cats with behavioral issues so it’s not a problem, but I’d just like to know of it beforehand so I can be prepared.
A typical day
If there is a nearby dog park I love to take the dogs there to release some energy. My dog loves to play ball so if yours does too that’s always an activity I enjoy! I also try to do at least one walk a day depending on weather.
