Hi guys! I’m a local nurse and part time pet sitter who would love to welcome your pup into my home. I started sitting in my early twenties and fostering in my late twenties. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages and temperaments and have watched dogs anywhere from 1 night to 2 months. Pets have free reign of the home and will get plenty of exercise and play time as I’m steps from donner lake and uncrowded hiking trails. Pets are family here and will get homemade pumpkin peanut butter treats and all of the scratches so that when you come back they are stress free and loved!

We had Kae sit our energetic 2 yo Vizsla for the first time this past weekend for 4 nights and she was terrific! You can tell she really loves the pets she cares for. She also left the house perfect. Will definitely use her again!
Kaeleigh came through with short notice when other sitters were not available. She provided updates, photos, and even gave Tobi some homemade treats that he loves! Thanks Kaeleigh!
Kaeleigh was super nice and responsive and definitely took great care of Oreo. She sent lots of pics and videos and Oreo came back happy and healthy!

Your dog’s comfort and safety are the most important thing. I know how hard it is to leave the fur babies with someone new but at Kae’s they’ll be safe, happy and well cuddled. I’m comfortable with crate training or dogs that are more free roaming. The same goes with leashes. It all depends on your pup and what you are comfortable with.

I would like to know anything necessary to make the stay as easy as possible and prepare accordingly. Is your dog leash trained or ok off leash? How is your dog around other dogs? (For walks and neighborhood pals) Any dietary restrictions? What medications are they taking and how often do they need to go potty? Let me know what your expectations are and we can work together to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition. Please let me know ahead of time if your dog is an excessive barker.
A typical day
Physical, mental and emotional stimulation are important for an animal’s well beings just like our own. Each pet is different so let me know what your dog prefers! Whether it’s hikes and bike rides or inside play I can accommodate. Some dogs prefer snuggles and belly rubs and some want a safe space to watch the front door. All are welcome here.

Availability
I work at home most of the time so your dog would never be alone for more than a few hours if at all. I can do as frequent of potty breaks as necessary and walk the trail by my house or go to the lake almost every day.
