Must Love Dogs!
Pet care experience
I'm a mature single woman who loves animals, dogs in particular. My Boxer, Harvey (white Boxer in photos with blue harness), passed in 2015 and now my roommates have dogs (the Basset in photos), so I don't currently have my own (we're full!) I'm very responsible and thorough with any instructions I'm given. I am reliable and trustworthy. I've worked for the State of Oklahoma for 5 years now. I've had dogs my entire life. I've also dog sat my sister's Chihuahuas (Pocket and Ellie, in photos) on several occasions, and my co-worker also has me sit when she's away (2 cats and a bird, Chester the cat in photos). I dog/house sat for a fellow volunteer periodically, 4 Boxers at once! That was an adventure (pic collage)! I just love animals and enjoy spending time with them. My house is quite noisy (there is a small child) so I love dogs and their quiet companionship. I volunteered with the Boxer Rescue of Oklahoma for a couple of years, but an injury to my ankle has preventing me from doing that (there was constant stair climbing involved at the kennel and it caused a lot of pain). I'm am physically fine for regular dog care, however.

Kade is a very responsible dog caregiver. She is attentive to their needs and provides loving care. She has volunteered with rescue organizations and is a true dog lover. She is also good with other pets including birds and cats.
Kade is so awesome with our two dogs, Woody and Bandit. When we go out of town,I never have to worry about our fur babies. We always come home to happy pups that got extra loving while we are gone. I recommend Kade to EVERYONE!

Boxers are my favorite breed, but I love all dogs! I'd like to know if they have any quirks (like they won't eat unless I am in the room, if they tend to chew up shoes, if they aren't allowed in certain areas, etc). They are like children with a substitute teacher and I don't want anyone getting one over on me! Any personality quirks would be helpful.
A typical day
Endless cuddles, playing fetch in a fenced yard, or taking leashed walks. If my ward is a fan of the dog park and the owners are ok with that, then I would plan at least one trip there for a weekend visit. During the work week, walks in the morning and evening would be expected (or extended play time in the yard). If I am in the company of a dog who doesn't know sit, or shake, I enjoy trying to teach them. I taught my sister's Chihuahua to "dance" on her back legs for a treat. It's adorable.
