While I may be new to Rover, pets, and animals in general, have been a staple part of my life since I was a small child. I grew up with a cat, whom I considered my younger brother, eventually adding a dog to the family; Oliver is my baby, I could not imagine my life without him! When I started working at Petco seven years ago, things quickly expanded from there. Besides my dog, I currently have a bearded dragon, three guinea pigs and two fish tanks. I've been the go-to pet and home sitter in my family and friend circle ever since I can remember. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, and pretty much any other type of animal imaginable. Working at Petco has exposed me to thousands of different animal personalities, especially those of dogs, and given me unmatched experience with animals of every kind. I've never met a fur-baby that I didn't love, and the feeling seems to be mutual! I would absolutely love to take care of your babies while you're away! Special care experience: Senior care - Oliver is 14 years old, and my cat was 17 when he passed away. I am very familiar with older animals and the changes and challenges that come with it. Medication administration - Oliver requires daily eye drops, my cat needed a daily athsma spray, and I have administered countless oral medications and eye drops to small animals such as hamsters, guinea pigs and lizards. Anxious animals - Oliver has always been very high anxiety, requiring medication and special care during certain situations. I am very attentive to dog's emotions and what each requires.
