Trustworthy sitter ready to play
Pet care experience
UPDATE: Unfortunately, I am relocating and won't be able to board dogs beginning in 03/2021 due to limitations in my new space. I will be available for house sitting with COVID-precautions when appropriate. If this is something you're looking to book, would love to talk about cleaning precautions and other healthy steps to protect both our homes! I am ready to care for your sweet pups of any age! I have had dogs my whole life - from playful, gentle labs to active, stubborn bully breeds. I had a boxer/red heeler dog who I recently lost. She taught me a lot - including how to handle leash aggression, behavioral issues, anxiety, and high medical needs in her senior years. It could be hard for me to find a sitter who could watch her when I was gone and understand her needs/cues. So, if that's you and your pup, I'm here for you! I work from home 5 days a week and have flexibility in my work schedule on my office days. Happy to follow whatever your pup's routine is and keep their stress (and yours!) low. My house is pretty quiet - it's just me and your pup, for the most part. I take one household of dogs at a time - so if your pup is on her own at home, it will be the same here. If you have more than one dog that you're looking to board, I'm happy to take 'em all together. Rate for the additional pups is based on independent needs/care - like whether they can walk together or need special accommodation throughout the day.
Reviews
Kacie was amazing! This was my first time leaving my newly adopted pup for a weekend, and Kacie made me feel super comfortable that Joey was well taken care of. Communicative, flexible and understanding!
Jacob absolutely loved staying with Kacie. She took him on several walks each day and sent lots of updates and pictures. He was clearly at home and well cared for.
Kacie was awesome with my dog - watched him for 5 days. He has a weird eating schedule and some anxiety, which she handled like a champ! Will definitely book again!
Kacie was awesome! My dog can be a bit anxious and is high energy, and she did great with Kacie. I received daily updates and photos, and Kacie was really flexible for drop-off/pick-up. Can't recommend her enough!

Information Kacie M. would like to know about your pet
Ready for pups of any age! I do live in Denver County and will need to talk with owners about breed ban issues. I’ve hosted pitt terrier mixes, but I want to be sure that this is a good place for your pup. I always like to hear how your pup has done boarding in the past to know what sort of things might come up. When we set up our meet and greet, I'll ask about dog reactivity/aggression/anxiety and what you do to respond to help your pup out in those times. When I boarded my girl on Rover, I always had a list of things for sitters to know - and now I want to know it all too! Would love to talk about all the strategies and behaviors to make your dog's visit fun and relaxing.
A typical day
I usually do walks in the morning and evening, time varying based on temperature and if we're trying to get out at a time with less foot traffic. When I work at home, I'll let pups out throughout the day. If I have to go into the office, I can make a trip home for a mid-day break for pups that need that. I love when dogs bring special toys over so we can play fetch in the yard with what they enjoy.
