Pet care experience
I’ve had pets of all kinds growing up, but about 8 years ago I rescued my first dog. That day changed my life, and I started working with a local animal rescue. Over the past 8 years I have fostered more dogs than I can remember. All different breeds and ages. I started out with puppies, then I started fostering mommas and there litters. I now mainly foster long term adult dogs and medical cases.

Kaci did an EXCELLENT job! First time using Rover and she watched our pups and house sat for 4 days and exceeded expectations. Our pups were well cared for and I’d recommend her to anyone!!!

Kaci was great and we look forward to having her dog/house again many times! She sent updates and left the house spotless, which is always a nice thing coming back from vacation. Our dog loved her and was super happy staying with her!

I have a fenced in yard for my dogs. I also have land, so if supervised my dogs get to roam. They are kenneled if no one is home though.

For me the most important thing is the dogs behavior. Not only towards other animals, but other people. Another important thing to know is different triggers for those behaviors. Also allergies, special needs, and medications.
A typical day
My dogs love to play fetch, and go to the water. So we tend to do more hiking trails, and lakes rather than parks. I’m up for anything though, and love exploring new places.

Availability
I volunteer with a local animal rescue. I also have five fur babies of my own. My husband works full time, and I’m a stay at home dog mom. So if I’m not at the rescue helping out, I’m home with my babies.
