Pet care experience
I have extensive personal and professional experience handling animals, predominately with dogs and cats. I petsit for family and friends, and through this have had to give a variety of medications and supplements, as well as provided light grooming. I have previously worked at animal shelters the last couple of years but now I currently work at an animal hospital and am working towards becoming a veterinary technician. Additionally, I have my Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science through Iowa State University. I am very flexible and able to care for your pets on weekends, late nights, and time gaps that are in my week-day schedule. I also am available to house sit as needed. In addition to my work experience with animals, I have grown up owning and caring for my own dogs.

Kaci does so amazing when she watches my two doggos! Whether I need her to just stop by and walk them for 30 minutes or need her to stay over night while I'm out of town, she's there making sure they get walked, fed, and loved! Being gone and knowing there's someone with my dogs that I can trust is so relieving! Definitely a 5-star gal!
Kaci A is a very loving and caring dog person. She worked at a Humane center back in Iowa and would always be playing with the dogs while she was sitting at her desk working. When a dog was sick she would sit with them and rub their back or belly. If a dog had to be put down she sat with them until they passed, and cried afterwards. Kaci’s love for dogs is overwhelming. She is very compassionate with all the dogs.
Kaci A is truly a dog lover. She cares for all types of dogs. She has 2 German Shepherds of her own and in her free time she takes them for walks, plays with them and even makes sure they are clean, gives them baths whenever needed. A typical day
Every dog gets an experience based on his/her needs and abilities. I like to make sure they are getting the most out of their time with me though. If there is a fenced in area I love to let them run and play. I like to take dogs on long walks. However, what I do will vary between needs and pet parent requests.
