Having adopted a highly reactive dog ten years ago I know how difficult finding walkers and sitters can be and how nervous you can feel leaving your dog with someone new. When I'm walking the focus is on the dog and our surroundings so we have the most successful outings. I had two 45lb dogs simultaneously (one a super senior) so am very comfortable walking more than one dog if you have two. My remaining dog is now a senior himself and we stroll at a slow pace. I have no problem carrying dogs up or down stairs (depending on weight!) and cleaning up accidents if need be. I only use positive reinforcement and treat training with dogs.
