Before Rover my experience included work at the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Lynnwood, Washington. My work there focused on aiding pets awaiting adoption by preparing them during their transition to their forever home (walking, socializing, basic obedience commands, attending to behavior and medical needs). I was raised to love animals of all types and have grown up in a home with high energy sheepherding/hunting dogs, cats, reptiles and fish. I have the patience for highly enthusiastic breeds or pets with special needs and am more than able to abide by all the distinct care you have set up for your beloved family member. During my care, I promise to provide up to date information on when I arrive, what transpired during my visit and how they are doing overall. During house sittings/ drop-ins I am more than willing to take out your garbage, check your mail, bring in packages or any other home-care you need to minimize any stress while you away. I have a flexible schedule to adjust according to your needs. If your pet is good with children as well (and with your permission) I have two children who would love to give your dog their full attention and provide active playtime. ***LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS 24 HOURS OR LESS ***** Due to calendar bookings and high requests, any walk/sit/drop-in requests with less than 24 hours notice will require an extra fee for the FIRST DAY of the last minute booking ($5 walk/drop-in, $10/sitting), all reoccurring days afterward will return to listed fees.

Kasey is awesome, my dog met her when he was 15 years old and grumpy. We didn’t feel comfortable leaving him alone while my husband and I attended our destination wedding in South Africa. She was very patient with him and his mood swings, by the 3rd day Forty was eating again, playing with his toys and her kids, almost as if they brought him back to his younger self. I would like to thank you for showing him the same love as we would, while we are away.

I stick to the neighbourhood that the dog is familiar with unless given permission or request by the owner and preference of the dog. If the dog is comfortable with the local eastside dog parks I will often choose that as an option to assure your dog gets plenty of exercise.
