Before caring for a pet, I like to know their feeding and potty schedule, temperament, energy level, medications or allergies, favorite activities, and any fears or triggers. It is also helpful to know how they behave around other animals and people, their house rules, and what comforts them so I can keep their routine safe and familiar.
A typical day
A typical day includes feeding pets on schedule, refreshing their water, taking dogs on walks and potty breaks, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I also make time for fun activities such as playing fetch, practicing simple commands, exploring the neighborhood, using enrichment toys, and relaxing together with cuddles. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and adjust activities based on their age, energy level, personality, and comfort.
