I offer care for medium size and large size dogs. I have one dog, a sweet female Golden Retriever. I will provide care to up to two additional dogs at a time. I love dogs and can't think of a better way to spend my time. I have a large home and attached fenced yard. Dogs staying at our home are treated as one of the family and unless directed otherwise by the owner, stay in our bedroom at night just like our dog. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the design of my fence I cannot accept small dogs for care as they can walk through the railing and escape from the yard. Prospective clients should know I will only accept neutered and spayed dogs and they must be reliably housebroken. They must also be clean and groomed. Dogs with nails that need trimming or with matted fur are uncomfortable. Not only is lack of grooming unfair to the dog, they can become temperamental or aggressive due to their discomfort. Dogs also must be current on vaccinations, and be on a flea/tick preventative. Only friendly, non-aggressive dogs will be accepted for boarding or daycare. I have opted to exclude boarding or daycare for pit bulls, pit bull mixes, Rottweilers, staffordshire terriers, Dobermans, mastiffs. Prior to accepting reservation requests clients should plan on a meet and greet so we can discuss their dog's needs and to ensure compatibility with my dog and comfort level in my home. It is for the benefit of the owner and dog.
