I've been around pets since I was born. As I came into the world, my parents had cats that both lived to the age of 20. While having these cats, my family has adopted three dogs, two large dogs and one small dog. While having these dogs, I have personally adopted 5 birds. My experience with these pets spans from learning about and treating diseases such as parvo, cancer, and dementia, taking training classes with aggressive and reactive dogs, day-to-day living with senior pets, and administering medicine to small animals that just flat out don't like it. My background is diverse and well-rounded, but the most important part of my experience with pets is that my days are still infinitely made better by being able to pet an animal! I currently work a full-time position from home so I am able to care for pets frequently during the day. Frequent trips outside for potty breaks or walks fit well into my home work schedule. While I do not have a fenced in yard, the apartment complex I live in is flanked by two large parks and has their own fenced in dog park. I do not have any four-legged pets of my own (my pets have 2 legs and wings!) and can very easily make space for yours!
