My name is Justin W I’m a proud (helicopter) parent of a year and half old Australian Shepherd! We do everything from walking hiking trails and swimming at the local beaches. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life; My family has had about five dogs in my lifetime. I love all dogs no matter the shape or size. I understand that no dog is the same and it’s very important to stay on top of their nutrition and eating schedules made specifically for them. I believe that you should treat every dog like it’s your own when dog sitting, dog walking, or in any situation. Walking service: I understand how important it is for you and your fury friend to be active. I walk my dog for at least an hour each day, rain or shine. The walk should be fun and eventful for your dog. This means walking to new places or walking where other dogs frequent for your dog to enjoy a nice scent buffet. 😉 Pop ins/ stop by visits: Check in visits are important to ensure that you’re furry friend doesn’t feel like you’ve left them to starve, even if you’re only at work for a fews hours! It’s nice to pop in and be as excited to see them as they are to see you. My goal is to tire your dog out and make them want to nap. That way you can come home to your best friend who is excited to see you, and not have them bother you for a walk after only being home for ten minutes after a stressful day of work. House sitting service: I’ve house sat for many people in the past for a week at a time to just a day. It’s always important to respect the space you’re in along with the dog you are looking after. I find it good practice to act like there are hidden cameras in the house watching you (nowadays that concept isn’t so far fetched). If an itinerary or schedule is left, it will be followed to a tee! It’s important to keep your dog on their schedule as to not upset them any further! I plan on keeping your dog busy with daily activities and lots of attention to make them feel as loved as possible without you there.
