Dogs are probably the most loving creatures on this planet. They are the only friends that will always be there for you when you need them. I became a pet sitter because it is simply a dream come true to meet new pups and take care of them all the same. I have grown up with dogs and have never met a dog I don't like. Dogs are my life and I love every bit of it! I currently have one dog that I personally have trained, cared for, and raised for the last three years. I have been a regular sitter for family and friends for the last several years, and have always enjoyed it. I have been around dogs my whole life and have always contributed in some way to their care. I’m also in the beginning stages of becoming a volunteer for the SPCA, and can’t wait to get started. I have dealt with anywhere from puppies to seniors in my life, so I’m happy to take on pups of all walks of life. I prefer to do a meet and greet at the client’s home before our first stay, so I may meet the dog where they’re most comfortable. It also gives me a chance to meet the clients and get a tour around the house so I may understand everything. There, we can also discuss medical history and address any and all questions related to providing the best care possible. I know that most pups thrive under the schedule that they’re used to, so care will be structured around what your pup does at home. I will keep them on their daily schedule so there is no confusion. During a stay, I am happy to send pictures or video messages every day (or more frequently if needed!) to make sure that you are kept up to date on how your pup is doing. Everything is done to keep you and your pooch happy!
