Pet care experience
Hello Rover community! I am an experienced pet sitter and house sitter of nearly 7 years now in the Austin area. Growing up with dogs my whole life, I have plenty of experience with our 4 legged friends and love being able to take care of family’s loved ones while they are away. I work with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages and can take care of special accommodations such as oral medications and therapeutic exercises. While housesitting, I am able to help out any way needed whether it is getting daily mail, watering plants, garbage/recycling pickup, light house cleaning, etc. I am currently a graduate student and have flexible hours to walk and take care of pets morning, mid-day, and night. *I prefer to house sit for a minimum of 2-3 nights or longer* Feel free to contact me with any questions or additional information. Justin house sat and watched our two cats. One kitty is new to us with a traumatic past so I was really worried about her being ok with an unfamiliar person. But just a few hours later she wasn’t hiding anymore and playing with Justin! We received cute pictures of our babies and they were in great spirits when we returned so I’d say they really enjoyed Justin’s company!! Justin also left the house as clean as when we left it, so even more brownie points that!
Justin was fantastic staying with Bodie at my place. This was the first time I was gone for a week since adopting Bodie, and he’s anxious around newcomers. I was worried he wouldn’t leave his crate all week. But Justin was able to breakthrough and build trust with Bodie very quickly. Soon I was getting daily pics, videos of their walks and dog run time. Upon my return, my place was just as I left it and he had laundered linens and towels. Great job!
Justin was great! Great communication, very timely, sent lots of pictures of our pup, a very nice guy.
