Ever since I was born, I have been fortunate enough to have pet dogs in my life. Caring for my furry friends is second nature and something I love doing. Rest assured that when you leave your furry family member with me they will be treated with the up most care and attention, as if they were my own. I know the kind of care I would want my pet to receive and I will go out of my way to make sure that your dog receives that and more. When you choose to board your pet with me, your dog will have a house with a fenced in backyard to explore and call home for their stay. The house is kept very clean and has been dog proofed (no object that your pup could get into and eat or get hurt from). Additionally, two blocks from the house is the South Side Dog Park, which has a large dog and small dog fully fenced area. With the owner’s permission, I will take any pet to the park to run around and play with the other dogs. In addition, I live with my wife, Maddi, and our 1 year old corgi, Piper, who both love to have other dogs visiting. While your dog stays in our home, it will receive endless love and play time from all three of us. I work weekdays 9-5 downtown. When watching a dog, I walk each dog in the morning before work, immediately after work, usually going to the dog park, and then before bed. However, if requested, I will be able to leave work at lunchtime to take out your dog (only for dogs boarding at my apartment or on certain basis for other jobs). Weekends I am completely free and usually like to go explore new parks, new parts of the city, or go on hikes. If you approve, your dog will accompany me, receiving lots of exercise they would never receive being locked up at a kennel or even in a home. I am extremely flexible and would love to work with each client to create a specialized schedule for each of my furry guests. Every owner will have different concerns and requests and I will do my best to work with you and create a schedule that works well for every party involved. If requested, I can also include dog washing for an additional price.
