Justin used to watch my dog quite frequently while I traveled for work. I thought at the time that it was a great fit since he is young and active, and he promised that he would take my dog for runs, and at the time he lived with his family, so at the very least, I thought they would assist. Of course I thought he was doing a good job and my dog seemed to be excited to see him, but the last time he watched her there was dried pee on her pad inside her kennel. She is SO GOOD at "holding it" for long hours, so she would have had to be left alone for a long time in order for this to happen. I tried contacting Justin after my last stay with him and he went MIA and I haven't heard from him since. After looking for another sitter, I saw Justin's name pop up and saw someone else had left a review about neglect during their stay in Paris. I regret not leaving a review sooner as it could have prevented someone from having a bad experience. I would not recommend Justin - he does not prove to be responsible enough to care for someone else's pets.

We have been using pet sitting services for 6 years, and we have been happy Rover customers in the past, but we have never had such a bad experience with someone. We hired Justin to conduct twice-daily, 30 minute visits for our dogs while we were out of the country. We asked him to come in the morning and evening, and most days he didn’t show up until late morning or after 8 pm according to our alarm system. When we came home from a week in Paris, we found dried urine and feces all over our house in nearly every room. Halfway through the service, we noticed he wasn’t staying the full 30 minutes, and saw he would only stay about 10 minutes (one day it was only 4 minutes) and we asked him to stay the full 30, which he did only one time after we asked. We are so disappointed that he cared so little about our pets. Most of all, we are disappointed that we placed our trust in him and our dogs were neglected for a week.
