Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with cats and dogs, and have lived with and cared for them my whole life from puppy/kitten through adulthood, especially American Shorthair, Main Coon, and Persian/Himalayan cats and small breed dogs like Toy Poodles, Jack Russel Terriers, Pomeranians, and of course my Pug who still lives with me, Penny! (She has been neutered and is up to date with all shots and flee/heartworm prevention, and has been thoroughly socialized, including over the years living with several different types of cats, and both small and large breed dogs without any issues for Penny or the other animals. She’s just a cute little teddy bear who lives by the motto “Eat, Sleep, Love”. 😂) I also have experience (between the Pomeranians and Himalayan/Persian cats I’ve raised) with caring for long hair pets, and handling the specific and extra care that they can require, as well as the shorter hair breeds. And since I work from home, I’ll be able to give your little family member all the love and attention they need and deserve! Penny and I both hope to welcome your family member into our home too! 😁

As always, Justin is adorable and LOVES Lolla. And she loves him as well. I could see her but wiggle when seeing him. Thank you so much. Lolla can't wait to spend time with you as well. 🤩🥰
Justin is the best. He took care of Lolla as she was her dog. So much love and attention. Thank you so much. Lolla can't wait to see you again.
Justin and Penny were awesome and welcoming! He gave me updates with photos throughout my puppers stay. Would love to keep in touch for future stays!
Great communication and very responsive. My dog was very happy and comfortable.

Like I mentioned earlier, I do have a Pug that shares my house with me, but she has been neutered and is up to date with all shots and flee/heartworm prevention, and has been thoroughly socialized, including over the years living with several different types of cats, and both small and large breed dogs without any issues for Penny or the other animals. She’s just a cute little teddy bear who lives by the motto “Eat, Sleep, Love”. 😂 I also do have a pool in a secured enclosure that I can let the animals run around in if they need to burn off more energy, but only if/when I’m out there with them. (Just to be sure no one falls into the pool accidentally, or if they do, I can get them out quickly before causing them any stress.) Finally, I live in a quiet subdivision with Shingle Creek as my backyard, and can easily take your dog on a walk through the neighborhood or even along the Shingle Creek trails, depending on your wishes, how much energy your pet(s) have, and of course the weather. (For example, because Pugs can have some difficulty breathing when it’s hot, I only walk Penny a short distance in the subdivision when the weather gets near or above 80~.) And of course, I will also attend to any additional specific needs of your pet(s), to the best of my abilities. (I’m not a vet, so there are obviously some things I can’t do, but as long as it’s something you could do, then I will be sure it’s done, so you won’t have to worry about any changes in your pet’s routine!)

Information Justin C. would like to know about your pet
Please be sure that your pet’s shots are all up to date and that your pet is on some form of flee/heartworm prevention. This is something I will request to see, just to ensure the health and safety of all inside my house. Additionally, just let me know if you have any other special needs/desires and I will make sure to accommodate your requests. In the event your request is something I feel I might be uncomfortable with or unqualified to administer, I will be sure to let you know well before you drop off your pet so you can have time to find another option.
A typical day
The specific routine I’ll follow with your pet will be as close as possible to what they are already used to. And again, since I work from home, I have the flexibility and availability to adjust my schedule to meet the needs and routines that your pet(s) are used to/require. With most dogs (again depending on a number of factors including the breed of your dog and the current weather conditions), I’ll start and/or end each day by taking them on a walk, and will take them out to go to the bathroom at least a few more times in between. For the rest of the day, depending again on your desires and the needs of the animals, I will have your pet out in the house with me. That said, I do live alone in a 4 bedroom home, so if needed/desired I can easily separate animals into their own spaces, and check on and play with them one at a time. When your pet(s) are here, I treat them like I would any human guest, and put their needs before mine, and adjust my schedule to best fit your pet, so you can feel confident and comfortable that they will be in a caring environment as close to your own home as possible!

I’m a former music teacher, but decided to step down from my position so I could help take care of my ailing parents. But now that they are thankfully in better health, I am still working from home and living alone with Penny (my Pug). So because of this, my schedule is extremely flexible, and I’ll be able to be there completely for your pets and give them all the love and attention they need and deserve! Just let me know if you have any specific requests, and I’ll make sure they feel right at home here!
