(See additional rate & booking info below!) Hi, I'm Juno! I don’t have a lot of professional experience yet, but I grew up with 5 dogs and frequently took care of them alone at home in high school. Over quarantine, I helped raise my aunt's puppy, who was born in January of 2020, and took care of their lab mix, who takes daily medication and needs long walks. I also frequently house/dog-sat for them for 1-2 weeks at a time throughout 2021. Last fall, I moved to Washington for my last 2 years of college, and I've really missed taking care of dogs! My building doesn't allow pets, so I'd love the opportunity to watch someone else's for a few days. I'm very used to taking care of dogs who take medication and to feeding dogs with specific diets. ** I do have experience administering intramuscular injections to humans and know how to properly prepare, handle, and dispose of syringes and other sharps. However, unless you're in a bind and need a last-minute sitter to cover a gap in care, I would prefer not to sit any pets who require injections. **

Juno stayed with our fur kids for the weekend, and took great care of them and our place. We got lots of pictures and updates, and all the animals were in good spirits in the pictures and when we got home. We're extremely happy with the care Juno took with our pets and our home, and we will definitely be booking them again.
Juno took fantastic care of our dog, Ziggy, while we were away for a long weekend. She sent lots of pictures and we came home to a sleepy, happy pup. Well definitely book with her again.
Juno is fabulous! We are new to the area and new to Rover. We were like new parents leaving a newborn and Juno made the process so easy. She communicates well from the first meeting to the last day of sitting, she’s comfortable with dogs making our dogs feel at ease. We received daily picture updates that were great, confirming our fur babies were in good hands! One of our doggos even went looking for Juno the morning after she left - she was sad Juno wasn’t there. We will book with Juno again!

I love to go on long walks with dogs, and frequently walked my aunt's lab 2-5 miles a day. I consider dogs to be an important part of the family, and I will do everything I can to make your pup (and you) feel comfortable having me in your home. Extra booking info: • If your only pets are standard cats or dogs who have no special needs, you can probably skip this section! • Additional pets that are not cats or dogs and require minimal care (food and water twice a day) are $5 / night. Feel free to list these pets as whatever species you like, just bring it up while we're booking and I will manually change the price. • I do not charge a fee for fish who do not require tank maintenance etc. • Pets that are not cats or dogs but need interaction or daily care like snuggles, playtime, or litter box cleaning are charged at the cat rate. • Pets under 2 years who are still in the process of potty training, crate training, or not-destroying-the-house training should be listed as puppies. • ALL pets under 1 year should also be listed as puppies, including kittens. ALL pets who are not potty trained should be listed as puppies, regardless of age. • Reduced rates are available on a case-by-case basis for those with 4+ cats or dogs. • Pets that cannot be left alone in your home for at least 2 hours require a "constant care" rate of $5/hr for the duration of the stay for most pets, or $8/hr for puppies and pets who would otherwise be charged the puppy rate. • Feel free to inquire about sitting larger dogs than listed if you have a yard or dog run and they do not require walks. • For privacy reasons, I will unplug any cameras placed in the bedroom/bathroom. It is illegal to record others without their consent in these rooms. • If you have any questions about booking, do you best to fill out the request and we can work on it together! Rates & rules may vary if you are a returning client and we have an established relationship. However, all clients can feel free to inquire about specific/unusual requests, and to ask me any questions you might have! If you have a special case, I may be able to make accommodations.

I'd really appreciate an idea of your dog's size personality, and energy levels before scheduling. A list of any special feeding instructions / medication times, and some of your pup's favorite activities, are highly appreciated!
A typical day
I love to go on walks, and I'm still relatively new to Washington, so I'm looking to explore! I'm used to dogs who love to play with toys or puzzles and run around all day, and have experience caring for pups who have special needs or health conditions. For older or less energetic dogs, I'm happy to curl up on the couch or the floor and give them lots of attention.

I am currently finishing my BA in college, and while my classes are still mostly on Zoom, I also have other obligations that can require me to be away sometimes during the day. However, I always work my own schedule around your pets - you can let me know how long you're comfortable with them being left alone, and I will make sure to follow their schedule.
