Pet care experience
I am 23 years old, I have trained 3 German shepherds - one of which my families dog and two of my own. I am a student with online classes and a big car so my schedule is flexible. I love to hike with my GSD Jaeger, and we explore Colorado often. I have a strict routine and I’m prompt and efficient, you list the instructions and I will get them done! I have always connected better with animals than people, and especially after losing my first GSD to a tragic car accident - the majority of my time is spent with animals. I have experience in obedience training, socialization, and overall understanding the personalities and needs of every dog I’ve encountered/worked with. I have an active Instagram account for my two shepherds if you want to see what our lives are like and get a bit more insight on me! I can walk your dogs, take them somewhere fun, feed them, dog sit if you need a vacation - I also can happily take them to the self wash dog wash if they’re dirty for an extra $15, I’ve been doing it for years :). Everyone has different needs and specific desires for their pet and with constructive communication I would love to help.

I have known Junia for some time now and throughout my experience knowing her I have only known her as a loving dog mom. She embodies what it is to be an “animal person” and the care and compassion she shows not only her own dog, but every dog she comes across, is admirable. Junia has even treated my dog like her own since knowing her, and my dog Edgar, absolutely adores her. She gets so much love from the dogs she’s around because she gives so much of it already. There isn’t a single person I know in Colorado who I would rather have watching over my dog than Junia!
We have had many dog-sitters over the years but Junia is the person we turn to over and over again. She has a deep love for all animals and so when she is with our pets we know they are receiving the kind of care and attention that we would give them if we were home. She has given us a lot of peace of mind and our dogs love her!
Junia is an awesome person and fully devoted to any dog that is in her care. I have seen her interact with her dog for over two years now. I would highly recommend Junia to take care of any animals. She is especially good with pitbulls.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or requests I can account for! My boys are known to be “mamas boys” and it is a priority of mine to ensure your fur baby is happy, healthy, safe and that you as owners are comfortable with me. I highly recommend meet and greets ahead of time so we can make sure your dog is OK with Jaeger, he is very chatty and has an intimidating appearance but is such a lover. In the off chance they don’t get along we can discuss alternative options!
A typical day
I walk my kiddo Jaeger 3-4 times a day on a standard day. We use this time for fun games with little treats to really solidify his manners and obedience. He loves it! We also go on dog friendly hikes and walks in Colorado’s beautiful trails and we often go swimming at a lake near our home. Additionally, I mountain bike and backcountry snowboard and he runs behind me - great exercise for both of us and definitely exhausts him. Great option if your dog has high energy :)
