Happy Neighborhood Cat Mom
Pet care experience
Fully vaxxed (two doses + booster) and mask wearing cat auntie to take care of your fur babies while you are out. (Only accepting bookings for cats. Please note that we require proof of up to date vaccination of: FVRCP, rabies, and FeLV (or a negative FIV/FeLV test dated within the year)) About me: I am an obsessed older millennial mom of two spoiled cats. One is a grouchy older white persian grandma (12 yrs) and the other is my mischievous and chatty scottish fold tiger (8 yrs). My life quite literally revolves around them ... I'd love to get a few more but I have been vehemently told by my close family and friends that two are enough for now to avoid a crazy cat lady reputation (especially after covid killed my external hobbies like boxing, traveling, etc). Until then, here I am available to be a temporary auntie to your babies. When I retire, I shall be one of those eccentric old grandmas that run a cat cafe/book store/cat kindle-reading lounge which doubles as a cat daycare? Might be a while until retirement so cat sitting/boarding it is XD Professionally, I am a non-practicing corporate lawyer. So responsibility and responsiveness has been battle trained into me for 8 years on wall street. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Currently, I am enjoying the inner peace of not practicing law and coding for a tech company. Cat boarding: Accepting 1 cat for boarding per night. For extended trips or babies who prefer to be around humans for longer time, you could drop them off at Chez Happy Cat Cottage. We have 2 floors, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, multiple closets and tons of space so that my two pumpkins and your baby can divvy up and conquer different rooms, amazon boxes, scratching posts, chairs and sofas. We have a litter robot and will supplement with additional manual litter boxes. Daily mug shots of your baby against my messy home decor also included. Cat proofed apartment Service area: downtown Jersey City / some Hoboken Misc: Message me if your interested and we can discuss logistics as well as your baby specific details.

Victoria and her mom were so amazing and communicative. This was our first time with a cat sitter so I was very nervous and worried about how Einstein would adjust. Victoria made sure to message me with updates twice a day with cute photos of Einstein and what he was up to. Victoria and her mom was also really kind, respectful, and flexible, especially since we were traveling and dealing with moving and she was able to accommodate our crazy schedule. She is the type of person you can trust to take care of your pet no matter how shy your cat is. She would definitely be my first choice if I ever needed someone to take care of Einstein again.
I can't even describe how wonderful of a cat sitter Jungmee is. I was so so nervous to be apart from my baby Luna for 2.5 weeks, but Jungmee made me feel so comfortable and confident with how attentive, careful, and detail-oriented she is. Jungmee came over to my home for a meet & greet a couple months before Luna's stay, and was fully prepared with her own worksheet containing lots of excellent questions. She happily provided her cat's vaccination records and negative FeLV results when I asked, which made me feel a lot better about leaving Luna in a home with other cats. At her home, Luna stayed in a room with Jungmee's lovely mother and became best friends with her. She had so many different toys to play with and had a wonderful time with the three-sided tunnel. Jungmee took playtime and interaction between Luna and her cats very seriously, with the cats being separated for a couple days until Luna acclimated and then only allowed to interact when supervised. She provided twice daily updates with photos, videos, and a description of how Luna spent her day/night. I truly could not recommend her more; not only am I so relieved to have found an amazing cat sitter, I also feel like I've gained a new friend :) Thank you, Jungmee and Auntie!
Best catsitter I have ever had :-) Victoria has been so caring and enchanted my cat with so many options of toys that Eve (my cat) has much higher standards now! I think Eve still misses staying here when she meows for no reason... Victoria's two cats, Lupin and Yuna, are also sweet and Victoria has been very thoughtful about managing the cats, so they've never got into a clash. I would highly recommend the stay with my only worry being Victoria being too popular in the future with cats! (in that case I won't be able to send Eve to Victoria as much as I would want)
I feel very lucky to have found Victoria (Jungmee) to look after my little kitten Jessie while I was away. It is not easy to find someone who I could leave my little baby without a worry, but Victoria was absolutely great from beginning to end. She truly exceeded my expectations with how well my kitten was looked after; so much so I wasn’t even sure Jessie would want to come back home! :) I knew Victoria would be good when we met for a “meet&greet” and I saw straight away how organized, empathetic and good with cats she was; it was clear Jessie approved too :). Victoria was very attentive to all the details I explained about Jessie, her schedule, eating habits and treatments. She wrote everything down and asked the right questions. I was very impressed how well she knows cats and I felt confident she is a good match for my Jessie! When I checked in Jessie at Victoria’s place, I realized that my kitty would have a great time; she had her own bedroom, toys and a lot of attention from Victoria and her Mum! I could just see how much they love cats and what a great time Jessie would have there! I then received frequent daily updates with photos and videos of Jessie and I think she had a better ‘holiday’ break than me :). Honestly, it was so important for me to see that my baby was in good hands and that was absolutely true with Victoria! I would 100% recommend Victoria to those who need to have their cats looked after…she is the best!

Information Jungmee L. would like to know about your pet
Any allergies? What food does he/she take? Favorite toys? Are they shy/or love humans? Do you usually play music or have a show on in the background, etc? Whatever you feel like is important to you.
A typical day
Typical days are waking up next to one fur baby. Groggily getting ready for work while he glares at me for disturbing his sleep. Checking on the other one down stairs and then working away until I hit a wall ... Then, I go off and explain the bug to the nearest fur baby which usually is enough to figure out next steps... Repeat. Sometimes a baby decides I am too needy and chills in the closet or the downstairs room which is a sign for me to leave them alone as they sleep undisturbed... Yes, one of my cats was sorely disappointed that her momma never went back to the office, but we can't all get what we want, can we?
